Hongshan Culture Two Dragons Holding a Bi-disk of Triangle Shape, 19 x 4 x 25 cms, 2.1kgs
The two dragons supporting the triangle bi-disk has shown single entity imply the power to explore the mystery of the universe comes from true unification and seamless cooperations of human beings. The mysterial characteristcs of the universe has been presented by the triangle shape of the bi-disk which is a ritual object dedicated to the heaven. The shape of triangle has long been believed to carry great energies from the great wonders of the world like the Pyramids. In addition, the characters appeared on the surface of the triangular bi-disk might read as [月作女] which might be interpreted as the ritual object used by female to dedicated to the moon. This is a great Hongshan culture jade artifact from the great philosopher as well as great artist of ancient time.
